Tomb-Sweeping Day Holiday Notice
Qingming Festival, also known as the Tomb-Sweeping Day, Taqing Festival, Xingqing Festival, and March Festival, falls between mid-spring and late spring. It is one of China's four traditional festivals, along with the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival. Originating from ancient ancestor beliefs and spring sacrificial customs, Qingming Festival embodies both natural and cultural significances. It not only involves themes of paying respects, memorializing, and reminiscing, but also includes activities like outings and enjoying nature, promoting the traditional concept of harmony between heaven and humanity during this festival.
