DC high-voltage generator power switch is turned on as indicated by the digital display, but the high-voltage indicator light is on and the high voltage cannot be applied
Cause:
- The voltage adjusting potentiometer is not at zero position
- Adjust the potentiometer to zero position
Solution:
- Turn the fine adjustment knob and high-voltage output adjustment knob of the DC high-voltage generator counterclockwise to zero position. When the zero reset light goes off, you can apply high voltage.
- Choose the ground wire and connect it properly. Turn off the power and restart the DC high-voltage generator.
- After connecting the cables between the high-voltage tower and the control box, turn off the power, and restart the DC high-voltage generator. Or, after welding the ends of the cable, first turn off the power and then restart it.
- Re-weld the disconnected wires inside the control box, turn off the power, and then restart it.
