Shanghai Siemens High Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as SHVS in English) is a joint venture established by Siemens (China) Ltd. and Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Co., Ltd. It is currently the only joint venture outside Germany that produces Siemens high-voltage gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). The company has a total investment of 26.2 million US dollars and a registered capital of 13.1 million US dollars, with Siemens AG holding the majority of shares. 

The company occupies an area of 14,000 square meters, with a production area of 4,700 square meters and office space of 1,500 square meters. It is responsible for the research and development, production, sales, and services of 52kV and above high-voltage gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). SHVS has a highly experienced team of senior professionals in GIS design, production, and management. Since its establishment, the company has experienced rapid business growth, steadily increasing its market share and maintaining a leading position within the industry.
